Frequently asked questions

Which files can I use?

Word documents: .docx, .doc, .odt and .rtf, up to 50 MB. Password-protected files need the password removed first.

Will it look the same as in Word?

Very close. A full office engine lays out the pages, keeping page size, margins, fonts, tables, images, headers and page breaks, and every font is embedded so the PDF looks the same on any device. If your document uses a font our server doesn't have and the file doesn't include it, a close match is used, which can move a line or a page break. Check the PDF before you share it.

How are my files handled?

Your Word file is sent to our server, converted, and removed straight after: the PDF is deleted once you download it, and anything not downloaded within 10 minutes.
