Edit or remove PDF metadata

PDFs carry hidden details such as the author's name and the program that made them. They show up in search results and file properties.

1. Open Metadata

Choose the PDF to see its current title, author, subject and keywords.

2. Edit or strip

Correct the fields, or remove all metadata before sending a file outside your organisation.

3. Content too

Metadata is only half the story. To remove names or numbers on the page, use Redact PDF.
